All under one roof
Manufacturers and installers of quality joinery, Misco Joinery, not only create your cabinetry, they have a team of experts who will help you design the ideal solution for you.
When you plan a build or renovation, the joinery design and construction is vital to the flow and usability of your spaces. Whether it’s your kitchen, bathroom or elsewhere in your home, Misco Joinery understands design and layout, and they have built a team of expert designers whose job it is to make sure your joinery design works for you.
The Kaiapoi-based firm employs a total of ten designers whose qualifications range from architectural design and industrial design to kitchen design. The team can work directly with you to discuss your needs or work from house plans or plans for commercial buildings.
The designers follow a step-by-step process to make sure all the boxes are ticked, ensuring you get a result you can be proud of.
Getting it right
Misco will work from the plans for a new build, and for a renovation they’ll arrange to visit the site.
The designer will discuss your needs and wants for your space.
Misco will prepare an initial design and quote.
An appointment is set up to discuss the initial plan and any amendments.
Clients can also see, touch and feel all the gadgets, soft-closing drawers and finishes. Once everyone is happy with the design, it’s approved and ready for production.
Making it happen
Six weeks before installation, the Misco project manager will visit the site and do a final measure.
Misco will then optimise the space to ensure the most cost-effective use of materials to fit the area precisely. This information is sent to the machines for cutting, drilling and edging.
The Misco assemblers and joiners make up all the cabinets.
On the day before installation, the kitchen and joinery are loaded into the truck and delivered to site.
On the day of installation, the Misco team will go to site and install the kitchen and joinery.
